I never felt so small and insignificant standing next to these massive buildings. It's funny because I do come across many skyscrapers in Sydney but they just don't leave the same impression. The ones in Europe really give you a much more profound memory, I would argue. I don't know whether it is because of the history attached to them or just purely because of the immaculate craftsmanship put into creating these structures. Either way, it was just fascinating to experience something so unexpected of these buildings.
I absolutely love train journeys. To see the amazing nature and breathtaking scenery is definitely how one should approach the journeys they take between the cities/destinations in Europe. I am rather regretting the fact that I hadn't brought a digital camera to this trip. These photos were taken using my Nokia phone, which isn't so bad but gee, it would have been so much more fun to have a great camera by my side! The views were too amazing to not be taken photos of. Oh, this train journey took us to the stunning Sevilla, which will be featured in the next post. Until then, adios!
