Parisian Days

What a shame the photos came out very low quality. I am so disappointed in myself, it was my first time in Europe but I didn't even bring a decent camera with me. Not entirely my fault really as my parents didn't allow me to buy one but seriously I should have just bought one anyway. Enough about that, let's focus on the excruciatingly cold Paris in early March. Nothing too unbearable for this beautiful city though. We started off our official day in Paris with a stroll to Notre Dame Cathedral along the Seine River. It reminded me so much of Melbourne really, and while on that note, I haven't even posted my Melbourne photos from last year. I may probably do that sometime soon, it is also a very beautiful city.

Marble crazy!

Emperor Augustus - Why is this guy here?

This is my favourite part of Versailles

Marie Antoinette!

It was so cold and the garden was still barren :(

One last take of Versailles before heading back to the station

Other places visited while in Paris were the Pantheon, Jardin de Luxembourg and Versailles of course (as seen above). These photos were taken in the first two days of my visit, I'm guessing ahh I can't remember much of Paris now. I remember a lot of walking around Rue de Rennes, Sevres and the likes for shopping in the first two days. We may have even gone to Lafayette too on the second day, our days were just jam-packed like crazy. Next up will be the glimmering Eiffel Tower by night!

xx
